KÖPP now also offers the open cell EPDM grades of the 2000 series as continuous rolls without joints. The advantage in terms of efficiency: significantly better material utilisation.

In order to be able to supply you with the highly sought-after continuous product without joints, we have spared neither expense nor effort and invested further in our Romanian production plant. We are delighted to be able to present to you today our further development of the block foam from the open-cell EPDM-2000 series. For the first time, we can now supply you with rolls up to 20 meters long WITHOUT joints. Of course, we can also continue to supply blocks or sheets. And at an unbeatable price!

Flexible and capable of conforming to uneven sealing surfaces

The structure of the 2000 series combines the positive properties of open-cell and closed-cell foam. The flexible seals made of EPDM-2070 or EPDM-2100 mould themselves precisely to any unevenness and provide a reliable seal. The advantages of the material become particularly clear where different pressures act on the material at the same time. For example, components that are uneven in height, density and structure can be sealed with the same material thickness.

Available as a block, sheet or continuous roll without joints

The soft structure and slow recovery behaviour make the foam attractive for many applications, e.g. in the automotive industry for sealing cables and supply lines of different thicknesses in the dashboard. The qualities from the EPDM-2000 series are available as a 2 m block with a thickness of up to 65 mm, as a sheet or continuous roll with a width of up to 1 m and in lengths of up to 20 m, also with adhesive.
